Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Meetings (Live Event)  
Texas Lawyers Support Groups

There are two types of meetings: 1) Support groups for lawyers with depression, anxiety or stress in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio where the meeting format includes a presentation by a mental health expert followed by lawyer support discussion, and 2) Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers meetings, which focus on alcohol and drug recovery based on a 12-step program. All meetings are confidential.

Texas Lawyers Assistance Program (Section)  
State Bar of Texas

The Texas Lawyers Assistance Program (TLAP) provides confidential help for lawyers, law students and judges who have problems with substance abuse and/or mental health issues. Please visit the TLAP portion of the State Bar of Texas website. TLAP services include: Crisis Counseling and Referrals, Peer Assistance, Customized CLE and Education, Mandated Monitoring and Volunteer Opportunities. Some financial assistance may be available for mental health and substance abuse issues.
